Happy March! We are headed into wedding season pretty quickly (shout out to our 2024 couples!!) We know that you’re knee-deep in guest lists, vendor spreadsheets, timelines, and playlists, but have you purchased your wedding bands?
Colonial Jewelers has helped Frederick get married for more than 75 years. We are passionate about providing you with the area’s best selection and an unparalleled experience led by our expert staff. Wedding planning can feel like a whirlwind, so why not set aside a few hours to select your wedding bands together? When you visit our showroom, we like to offer our clients champagne because it should feel like a celebratory occasion! Afterwards, consider making a romantic date night out of it by sharing dinner at your favorite restaurant.
If your wedding is just around the corner, book an appointment during our upcoming Wedding Band Event (March 21-23) for $100 off your purchase! Try on as many styles as you’d like; we have an extensive selection of white, yellow, and rose gold rings to help you visualize your final look. Various designs, shapes, and contours are available to try on in order to get the best fit with your engagement ring. And if time is of the essence, select a ready-to-wear wedding ring and our master jeweler will size it with quick turnaround time.
If your dream ring is represented in a different metal in our showroom, keep in mind that it can take up to six weeks to special order the ring in your metal preference and finger size. This is especially true for men’s bands, which have millions of style variations.
If you have a custom design in mind, Custom by Colonial will bring your vision to reality! The process begins with a free consultation where we will listen to your ideas, land on a design concept together, and provide you with a custom quote. Once you decide to move forward, we will create a 3D wax model for you to approve before final production. In order to allow for revisions and plenty of breathing room before your big day, we recommend that you begin this process no later than about three months before your wedding.
We are also able to restore family heirloom jewelry on-site! Our sales associates will carefully inspect the ring and often will be able to provide an estimate on the spot for necessary repairs, so that it's ready for your big day. In some cases, we will elect for our master jeweler to take a close look at your ring's condition before providing an estimate for repair. In either case, your jewelry never leaves the building for repairs, and it can also be appraised for insurance purposes on-site as well.
Not sure where to start? Check out our Wedding Bands 101 post for things to consider as you begin to consider your wedding band options.
