Remember that your bands will be the most enduring aspect of your wedding budget, and you’ll want to select just the right pairing that will beautifully commemorate your love for many years to come!
We recommend stopping by our showroom at least 3 months before your big day to make your selection. This allows plenty of time for your bands to be sized or ordered. If you’re considering a custom design, consider beginning the process earlier, so that our in-house Custom by Colonial department can work their magic to create the bands you envision.

With so many options on the market, it can be difficult to determine which is best for you. One key thing to note is that precious metals (gold, silver, platinum, palladium) can be resized while all other metals would need to be remade in the future. If you are sentimental and wish to wear the exact ring from your wedding day all your life, precious metal is the way to go.

Most people wear their wedding bands every day, and you’ll want to keep in mind the types of activities your ring will withstand on a daily basis. For instance, if you work with your hands, an alternative metal like cobalt chrome will give you the shine of white gold, but with a bit more scratch-resistance.
