Let's Recap: Legacy of Love Event
The asymmetrical five stone bezel set Diamond ring that inspired Amy's restyle

Let's Recap: Legacy Of Love Event

By: Susan Summers

Do you ever have that feeling of eager anticipation when you lay the foundation work for a project, and now you must wait a few weeks to see the finished product? (Us too!)

Beautiful, one-of-a-kind pieces are well underway after our Legacy of Love Restyle Event in early February! While we await the big reveals, let’s highlight a couple of the sweetest stories.

Sometimes your inspiration comes directly from our jewelry collection. When Amy came in, she honestly had no idea what she could do with her stones. She had been in for some repair work a few days prior to the event and decided to stop by to see what we could design for her. Her goal was to create a ring that she would wear everyday in place of her wedding set. We began by perusing the case to see which styles she liked. First, she tried on a traditional five-stone ring and thought that would be “the one.” But at Colonial Jewelers, we believe in trying on as many styles as possible just in case the ring that steals your heart is still out there! The ring she chose is still a five-stone ring, but with an asymmetrical and modern twist: four bars of white gold intertwining at the center hold five bezel set diamonds of different sizes. And it was just meant to be: the jewelry that she brought to the event had all the stones we needed to create this perfect ring for her.

Amy isn’t the only one who restyled her ring – Jennifer came to our event with a vision in mind. Her original ring was a three stone, and she really wanted to keep the same style, but elevate it. And while she was unsetting her diamond, she decided to go bigger! Her new ring will feature the same three stone style, but with an upgraded center and beautiful side accent diamonds that lead the eye to the stars of the show. Jennifer is also having her original diamond made into a pendant!

The memories and sentimental value of the jewelry these ladies brought in are priceless, and soon enough, they will be transformed into jewelry that will be well-loved for many more years to come. We absolutely cannot wait for these pieces to come to life, and we eagerly await our next restyle event. Stay tuned for our other upcoming events, in the meantime!
