We would start by taking a look at the shapes and quantity of stones that you have, and then take a look at different styles to see what can be created. Don’t worry about using all of your original stones in your new ring. You can always keep the remaining stones for another project down the road, or you could make a pendant that would keep them close to your heart!
Take this Custom by Colonial project, for example: our client decided to reset her mother’s center stone into an engagement ring that she will wear proudly. The new setting incorporates the double decorative prongs that her mother’s ring originally had as well as featuring elegant floral detail representing the love of nature that she and her husband share. It is truly a special blend of her and her mom!
Do you absolutely love your design, but not your metal choice? Sometimes a metal swap is all you need to completely change the look of your rings! Custom by Colonial will take the details of your ring and create a replica in the metal of your choice.
And what if you don’t want a ring any longer? You can convert the ring into a different type of jewelry altogether! Custom by Colonial recently created a floral necklace using the stones from a floral ring wrap that belonged to the client’s mother. We kept the details of the wrap by setting the original stones into a necklace that closely resembles the wrap.

The amount you receive essentially functions as a store credit; if you don’t use it all the first time, it will remain on your account and never expire!
